Week 1 (7 Nov): THEMED CLASS: Cafe visit (settle with distractions, leave it, wait and stay)
Week 2 (14 Nov): Group Walk (Loose lead skills, focus and engagement, recall, leave it) in the park (at Neighbourhood House)
Week 3 (21 Nov): Intro to Scentwork
Week 4 (28 Nov): Intro to Scentwork
Week 5 (5 Dec): THEMED CLASS: Christmas (mat settle, drop/thankyou, polite greetings, leave it)

ABOUT THE CLASS
Real skills for real life.
The Good Dog Club is a small group class designed to help everyday dogs build the skills they need to be calm, confident, and easy to live with.
Classes are kept small — four dogs maximum — so every pair gets genuine attention and the environment stays manageable. With a rolling intake, you can join when you're ready rather than waiting for a fixed course to start.
Sessions rotate through a range of practical skills including:
Loose lead walking
Recall
Settling and calm behaviour
Polite greetings
Focus and engagement
Foundation obedience skills (Go to bed, Leave it, Positions)
Cooperative care and handling (Grooming, vet visits, nails)
And more

IS THIS RIGHT FOR YOUR DOG?
Good Dog Club is a great fit if your dog...
✓Is social or neutral around other dogs
✓Has no significant fear or aggression history
✓Needs manners, life skills, or foundation training
✓Is an older puppy or adolescent building good habits
✓Would benefit from training in a distraction-rich environment
Note: Younger puppies are welcome, but the class is aimed towards older dogs and might be quite tiring for little ones.
This class may not be suitable if your dog...
✗Reacts strongly to other dogs on lead
✗Has a history of aggression toward dogs or people
✗Is significantly fearful in group settings
✗Has complex behaviour challenges requiring one-on-one support
